This taco haven has garnered a devoted following among locals and visitors alike, and for good reason. Specializing exclusively in delectable flautas, the restaurant serves up a dish that is both simple and sublime.

The flautas, a Mexican classic, feature long, crunchy rolls of shredded beef, elegantly cut in half and accompanied by a fresh and vibrant salad. The preparations here are notably unique: from Monday to Friday, patrons are treated to flautas drizzled with a rich tomato-based sauce, while weekends offer a delightful avocado sauce twist. This rotation keeps the experience fresh and exciting, encouraging repeat visits.

  • Community Favorite: Customers rave about their flautas. Jaime Ratliff describes them as a must-try, and many others echo the sentiment, emphasizing the critical role of the sauces that elevate these already scrumptious rolls.
  • Homemade Goodness: Each dish is made from scratch, reflecting a commitment to quality and authenticity. Brenda Rosas notes the combination of flavors and the freshness of ingredients, including shredded beef and potatoes.
  • Nostalgic Flavors: For locals like Noe Antonio, Taqueria La Pila #2 is more than just a restaurant; it’s a portal to cherished childhood memories. The establishment is bustling with families and friends who share a love for these unforgettable flautas.

A must try, 1 order has 3 long shredded beef flautas cut in half and a simple salad on the side, I also prefer going on weekdays when they top them off with a tomato based sauce, weekends is avocado sauce.

Delicious flautas! FYI if you're expecting to anything else, all they have is flautas. However, they are delicious!!! Weekdays the flautas are topped with a red sauce. Weekends they are topped with a guacamole sauce. You definitely need to try this place out.

This place brought back so many memories of when I used to eat there as a kid with my grandparents. And lemme tell you, the food is still goooooooooood. I was in awe at how many people come in for orders and the staff, working a madre, sacando ordenes y sirviendo al cien! Las flautas riquisimas y claro, con su soda de manzanita, pansa llena corazon contento! The heart is happy when the belly is full!!
